A Very Special "Who's Who?"

DockEllisDee and I have long observed how NCAA college basketball coaches grow to resemble their school's mascots. You'll find irrefutable evidence of this phenomenon below.

It's only been a few years at the University of Oregon, but Dana Altman is well on his way to becoming a Duck.

Here's Bo Ryan and the Wisconsin Badger. Or is it the Wisconsin Badger and Bo Ryan? I honestly can't tell them apart.

Thad Matta and Brutus, aka the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Former Temple University basketball coach John Chaney. Yes, Temple's mascot is an Owl.

Jim Calhoun and the melancholy University of Connecticut Husky (circa 1959). From the same litter?

I didn't know that Duke University's mascot was the rat!?

Oh right, it's the Blue Devil. Well, that works too.

And finally, the all-time classic. Gene Keady, the Purdue Boilermaker.
